Creating Altars is a multi-generational art class that encourages meaningful dialogue between youth and their elders. This class utilizes art as a collaborative experience for important family dialogue, and offers a unique opportunity to create a visual representation of our individual stories and heritage that is passed through generations. Students will learn to make art that is representative of their history while sharing family stories with the ones they love.
